Waiting can be hard.

I just got off the phone with a man I have come to have a great respect for. He called to check on my family and myself during this very difficult time. He was concerned for us, he and his wife wanted to know how we were getting along and if we had any new information about where we were going to go in our ministry. Of course right now I don't know. We are still continuing to trust God and wait on his timing. Why is this significant, you might ask? So what, if someone you respected called you today. It is very important when you consider how down I was feeling this morning. This is my 5th week since leaving my position at First Church and it is the beginning of the 4th month since it was announced that I would be let go. So to be honest I was feeling a little discouraged and then the phone rang. God always has a way of sending just the right encouragement at the right time. I know that with such great friends who love, pray for and encourage my wife and me that everything will be fine.
